It's all too easy to get caught up by Liv Tyler's luverly face when you look at snaps of her.

But eagle-eyed showbiz spies that we are, we noticed something amiss with this fair maiden's hand.

Where there should be a ring, there is no bling.

Liv joined the creme de la creme of Celebville at the New York Met's Costume Institute Gala on Monday - without her wedding ring on.

Now, some might jump to the conclusion that her marriage of three years to Brit rocker Royston Langdon is on the rocks.

But we reckon she might have just left it on the sink after she did the washing up.Where's her wedding ring?

Or maybe she thought diamonds wouldn't go with a long black gown. Oh, um, hmmm...

Perhaps it's in the soap dish by the shower?

Either way, it got us to thinking about who she could date if she were to be single again.
