So, Gareth Gates has done it.
And on New Year's Eve too.
That's right, Gareth has asked his girlfriend, Suzanne Mole, to marry him.
Gareth has been dating Suzanne, a dancer, for five years.
He confirmed the news, saying: "After a great Christmas, I proposed to Suzanne on New Year's Eve and she said yes.
"We are both extremely happy and look forward to planning our wedding and life together."
We bet.
