If your New Year's resolution is to become Mrs George Clooney, we have bad news.
A certain Charlie's Angel is rumoured to have got there first.
After parting ways with his on/off girlfriend Lisa Snowdon last year we all hoped we might (just might) stand a chance of bagging the Ocean's Eleven smoulderer.
However, reports from New York suggest he's sticking with girlfriends of the celebrity variety.
Hurumph.
According to onlookers, George was recently seen leaving a restaurant in the Big Apple with actress Lucy Liu.
The pair were romantically linked back in 2000, when rumours that they were dating circulated the press before fizzling out.
And although we tried to reassure ourselves that this recent dinner date was just a chummy thing, spies say they kissed outside the restaurant door.
A friendly peck? Sadly not.
"She looked like she was going to devour him," claims one onlooker, talking to the New York Post.
Obviously the helpings at that particular NY eatery weren't enough for Lucy.
