When you can get soapy with the best in Blighty soap biz, like the Showbiz Shed did?

We're talking about the Inside Soap Awards, where we got to natter to soap stars galore.

And (cue clicking together of Jimmy Choo heels in delight) we got some fashion tips from Kara Tointon, who was named the best dressed soap star, we chatted to James Sutton (aka Hollyoaks' John Paul) about his girlfriend and his guitar...

And we got to ogle Robert Kazinsky up-close on the red carpet.

In the flesh Kara's petite and gorge, as well as being oh-so nice too.

She told us: "I love clothes, I'm a girl's girl, so it's really lovely."

Her fashion tips for us mere mortals out there?

She reckons: "Just keep it simple, and learn what suits your body, and just keep it plain, really."

Note duly taken, Kara.

As for her style icons, she reckons: "I love Jennifer Aniston, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller, all the usual women who just look great in anything they wear, but they wear things that suit them.

"If I wore those things they wouldn't suit me."

Now for some swoon factor.

Clad in black from head to toe, we're happy to report Robert Kazinsky is ga-ga gorgeous in the flesh. Maybe it was just, the, er, good lighting, but he also has an impressive set of biceps.

We loved chatting to Antony Cotton, who called us "darling", and Adele Silva must be the nicest lass on the celebrity block.

So, despite a nightmare trip to get there, it was well worth it.

In fact, we think the date miraculously has already pencilled itself in our diary for next year.
