Hugh LaurieHugh LaurieBrokeback Mountain just pipped Walk The Line to the Golden Globe post with four gongs.

And although some of the British big hopes such as Keira Knightley and Judi Dench will be putting their ornaments back on the mantelpiece, Rachel Weisz walked away with the best supporting actress gong.

Honoured for her role in The Constant Gardener, Rachel beat off competition from Hollywood darling Scarlett Johansson and Brokeback Mountain's hotly tipped Michelle Williams.

Walk The Line won Globes for best musical or comedy film, as well as the best actor for Joaquin Phoenix and best actress for Reese Witherspoon.

Brokeback MountainBrokeback MountainBut Brokeback Mountain won the biggies of best dramatic film and best director for Ang Lee. It also pocketed best screenplay and best original song.
