Who doesn't love singing along to a raunchy Bond theme?
Belting out a bit of Goldfinger, a la Dame Bassey, can liven up any morning shower.
And now British act Goldfrapp looks set to follow Shirley's stratospheric success, after being offered the chance to do the new Bond theme.
Alison, and her pal Will Gregory, are hot favourites to record the title track for Casino Royale.
The movie, which stars new Bond Daniel Craig, will be released in November.
Although a number of chart acts, like Madonna, Duran Duran and A-ha, have recorded Bond themes, a source told the Daily Mirror that Goldfrapp were:
"A slightly cooler choice than you'd expect."
Casino Royale is expected to be the "edgiest" Bond movie to date and if Goldfrapp are behind the theme it will "take the band to a whole new level", says the source.
Although Madge would be able to give Goldfrapp all the advice they need, Alison has ruled out a collaboration.
"I think I would look stupid next to her. She would be very agile and I'd be trying to drag myself around the stage," she said.
It's been a great year for the band; their fastest-selling album Supernature was released, they toured the States and are currently doing the festivals.
