It isn't Blake Lively (who plays Serena) but rather her on-screen mum, played by actress Kelly Rutherford, who's done some dishing.

She told Usmagazine.com: "There is a character on the show who will reveal he's gay."

Wowsers.

And she also let slip a titbit about another star who's joined the show for a while.

She said: "Michelle Trachtenberg (of Buffy fame) is coming on the show and she's causing all sorts of drama."

Well, we'd expect nothing less from the Gossip Girl world.
