And now eco-warriors have a fresh recruit in the form of Halle Berry.

Hot on the heels of rationed bog roll (Sheryl Crow) and an eco-friendly hotel (Leonardo DiCaprio), comes Hollywood star Halle and her organic nappies initiative.

Mum-to-be Halle spilled the green beans on her plan recently - and it's not just environmentally friendly nappies she's heading for, but a whole darned nursery as well.

The four-months-preggers star told People:

"I'm working on the nursery, but it's all going to be organic and eco-friendly.

"They even have organic disposable diapers now that you can use. I'm going to really try hard to make it all organic."

Whatever next - go-green breast pumps perhaps.

All in a good cause, eh...
