Muggles don't normally get very close to Harry Potter.
So, just how did he manage to get the Showbiz Shed well and truly under his spell?
It all happened at a legit encounter with Daniel Radcliffe, at the press con promoting the fifth film of the JK Rowling series, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.
This time round, inbetween fighting that bloke who shall not be named, aka Lord Voldemort, HP has his first on-screen snog with Cho Chang, played by Katie Leung.
On filming the scene, Dan said: "I think we were both a bit nervous, because we did know that everyone was talking about it and there was the knowledge that this is a highly anticipated scene.
"But I think after the first few takes it was fine, and we actually started enjoying ourselves."
One thing Dan did want to get off his chest was the rumours saying the kiss took thirty takes.
He said: "I meant it was thirty takes spanned over about six different camera set ups.
"But that's been misconstrued as meaning that I requested we do thirty takes on the kissing scene, which is a lie."
So, is Dan a good kisser?
His co-star Katie revealed: "I'm sure everyone wants to know if he was a good kisser. He definitely was.
"He fell ill during filming, so the scene kept getting postponed, but we eventually did it and it was really good. It's a very sweet scene."
The new HP will open in the UK on 12th July, so broomsticks at the ready peeps.
