The speculation about who will be Bond's next babe has been going on forever...
But a new name has been thrown into the ring - Thandie Newton.
The British actress is hotly tipped to be the girl for James in the new 007 movie, Casino Royale.
The word is that the new Bond himself, Daniel Craig, was "deeply impressed" with the 32-year-old's audition.
Apparently, Crash and Mission: Impossible II star Thandie had to act out a steamy bedroom scene with lucky old Daniel...
An insider told IMDb: "Thandie is a natural Bond girl. She's feisty but sexy - the perfect combination."
We won't take any of this as an indication that the casting is signed and sealed, though.
So far, the pundits have got themselves excited about a host of Hollywood starlets, including Angelina Jolie, King Kong star Naomi Watts and the gorgeous Charlize Theron - all to no avail.
Some say that actresses fear the "curse of Bond" could scupper their careers if they cosy up to the quintessential spy.
We'll have to wait and see if Thandie is the superstitious type.
