Helen MirrenHelen MirrenHelen Mirren might need to buy a new house.

At the very least she needs to clear a space on the mantelpiece.

Because she's just won more recognition for her role in The Queen - in the form of a Bafta.

It's no surprise that the star picked up best actress, as she did the same at the Golden Globes, Sags and Critics' Choice awards...

Forest Whitaker followed Hel's lead by winning another best actor gong for The Last King Of Scotland and Jennifer Hudson was the familiar name read out as best supporting actress for her role in Dreamgirls.

In fact, the only real surprise came from the best supporting actor category, with Alan Arkin winning for his role in Little Miss Sunshine. Not bad when you consider he was up against the likes of Michael Sheen and Jack Nicholson.

Elsewhere, Paul Greengrass received the best director prize for United 93, Eva Green was named the Orange rising star and The Queen got the nod for best film.
