We thought another Hollywood marriage was about to bite the dust...
But Hilary Swank has revealed she and Chad Lowe won't divorce, despite announcing a split earlier in January.
The two-times Oscar-winning actress spent Christmas and New Year alone, before announcing the separation, but says the marriage is far from over.
Talking to Access Hollywood at the Golden Globe Awards, she insisted she and Chad, the Emmy award-winning brother of Rob Lowe, were doing all they could to save their marriage.
She said: "It's not over, we're not divorced. We've been together for over 13 years and there's a lot of love there... We're still married."
The couple announced their separation on January 9th 2006, when the Million Dollar Baby star's manager released a statement saying:
"Hilary and Chad have decided to separate, but they are hopeful they'll be able to get through this tough time."
The pair married in 1997 and have no children.
We like a happy ending, so wish them the best of luck with patching things up.
