Marriages end every day, but only in Hollywood do stars grapple it out in the public arena...
And Hilary Swank has certainly packed a punch on ex-hubby Chad Lowe.
Hil went public about his past substance abuse problems after announcing she had split up with him.
A double whammy...
Chad has now admitted he was still coming to terms with the break-up of his marriage when she dropped the bombshell about his troubled past in an interview.
He said: "It wasn't as though she made something up, and it was all of a sudden, you know, she was telling some lie.
"I mean, it's true. I was disappointed... I felt like it was for me to discuss if I wanted to discuss it."
But he harbours no bad feelings towards his ex - in fact, he believes Hil will always regret spilling the beans.
He added: "I think she regrets it because I know her character... She's a really special person. She's got a great heart.
"I will always love Hilary... I don't think that you just fall in love and then you don't have a place in your heart for that person.
"I'm not in love with her, but I will always love her."
