But anyone watching the show should know that Nicollette's not your average lass.

No, she met her fiance Nicklas Soderblom after she lamped a great white shark in Malibu and saved his life.

The stunning blonde told OK! the romantic story of how they met.

"Nicklas was on a surfboard and there was a huge great white shark that had come over from Catalina," she explained.

"I was doing my daily three-mile swim and I saw this fin.

She and Nicklas, a Swede, are soon to be married. And she couldn't be happier.

"I feel so lucky to have such a kind, compassionate and amazing man in my life," she gushes.

"One's career doesn't wrap its loving arms around you at night."

And it seems that all this talk of love has softened the 41-year-old.

Her reported feud with Housewives co-star Teri Hatcher has come to an end. Sort of. According to the official line, anyway.

When asked about their relationship, she said: "Hmmmm...Everybody is really appreciative of being a part of this incredible show," she began cryptically, before falling off the fence.

"Everybody gets along really well, regardless of what people say."
