Hugh Grant is back on the market.
He has split from girlfriend of three years, Jemima Khan.
The couple announced on Friday night that it was all over.
And, of course, that it was "amicable".
Their three-year relationship has been dogged with ups and downs, with constant reports that Jemima was keen to settle down but Hugh wouldn't commit.
Hugh's spokesman refused to issue any details concerning the split but whatever the reason, the king of romantic comedies is single again.
He split from Liz Hurley in 2000, after twelve years and one indiscretion with a prostitute.
Liz is due to marry her fiance Arun Nayar at the beginning of March - will a now single Hugh be invited?
Despite still being mates, it emerged recently that Hugh wouldn't be a guest at Liz's wedding.
It was no secret that Liz and Jemima weren't the closest of pals - perhaps something to do with an alleged finger-licking incident.
But with Jemima out of the picture, perhaps Liz will change her mind and extend an invite to her ex.
