Michael HutchenceMichael HutchenceToday marks a decade since the death of INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.

Take a trip down memory lane with us.

Michael was found dead on 22nd November 1997, in a Sydney hotel room. The band had been on a world tour, with the final leg set for November and December of that year.

The cause of his death was ruled as either suicide or accidental asphyxiation.

A young 37 at the time of his death, Michael had a daughter, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence, with his girlfriend Paula Yates.

In September 2000, Paula died from an accidental overdose, and today Tiger Lily lives with Paula's former husband, Sir Bob Geldof, who is her legal guardian.

Michael also dated the likes of Kylie Minogue and supermodel Helena Christensen.

In a tribute to Michael, his band mates have posted messages on the official INXS website, with Jon Farriss saying: "November 22 1997 was a shocking, sad and tragic day as we and the world learned of the death Michael Hutchence.

"But I, like many, choose not to focus on the death of Michael and instead prefer to celebrate his wonderful life..."
