Insults Fly At Q Awards

Sarah HardingIt wasn't as smooth as certain types of peanut butter at the Q Awards in London.

Take That were called "b*****ks", Noel mocked his brother Liam and Jonathan Ross insulted Heather Mills.

And that pesky Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud stuck her tongue out at photographers. Tut tut.

Take That were given the Q idol gong, but were ridiculed by Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys when he took to the stage to accept the people's choice award and best album trophy.

"A lot of people make jokes about having awards for no reason just for the sake of having awards, and pretending they were good when they weren't.

Noel Gallagher"I'm not old enough to know a lot of them but even I know that Take That were b*****ks," he said.

Oasis were named best act in the world today and Noel Gallagher picked up the classic songwriter prize, but talking about his brother Liam's absence, Noel joked:

"He's gone to the zoo. The monkeys are bringing their kids to go and have a look at him."

"I guess I really should thank our kid for singing all these great songs - but as he's not here, f*** him."
