Talk of stars leaving shows tends to get us a tad emotional.
So we're pretty glad Mr David Tennant has now cleared things up.
Because for a while we've heard whisperings that the Doctor Who star was considering saying ta-ta to the show.
Then his co-star, Catherine Tate, told Jonathan Ross she thought the next series may be David's last.
But thankfully, the star of the BBC1 show has had his say.
Talking at the premiere of Doctor Who: Voyage Of The Damned, David said: "Catherine Tate stitched me up good and proper. She goes on Jonathan Ross and makes up a load of old nonsense.
"Unbeknownst to me, she thinks I've made a decision - she'd clearly had too much coffee that morning.
"She said I was leaving, which was a decision I haven't made yet. Maybe she's made it for me, but I'm going to keep people guessing for as long as possible.
"I'm doing four more specials and beyond that no one's asked me to make any decisions and I'm quite happy to be enigmatic for as long as possible."
The writer of the show, Russell T Davies, also said that David was "absolutely not" quitting.
Hurrah.
