We've seen her go from trumpet-blowing kid to full-grown heart-breaker...And she's just left hubby Martin Fowler for her new girlfriend.
But we hear Sonia may not be long for the Square.
Alas, it's true. Natalie Cassidy, the girl who has grown-up on our screens as Sonia, is apparently quitting EastEnders.
A BBC insider told the Sunday Mirror: "She has been in the soap for 12 years and wants to have time off to pursue other acting opportunities, but she will be coming back."
Sonia's certainly had a time of it since she arrived in Albert Square back in 1993.
She gave birth to daughter Rebecca (Chloe) but didn't know she was pregnant.
Her first boyfriend Jamie died after being hit by Martin Fowler's car.
She later married Martin, and now she's with girlfriend Naomi.
A BBC spokesman said: "We wish her the best."
