Kate Hudson came, saw and conquered at the Elle Style Awards.
So, does that make her the most fashionable kid on the block?
We don't think it's as simple as that.
We like to cast our own peepers over such monumental style issues.
To say Kate is a style icon is no throw away comment.
And we have to consider carefully whether or not she's a worthy recipient.
Kate said: "I've never got an icon award. It's insane, I'm 28, I guess my thirties are going to be pretty interesting.
"They'll probably be my great downfall. I'm so honoured."
Yes, we often think Kate looks nice - but do nice outfits a style icon make?
