But from nowhere, in the last six months, Basic Instinct star Shazza seems to have rekindled a professional relationship with her coiffeuse from 1980.
Taking a step on from the poodle perm of the end of last year, Sharon recently rocked up to the Oscars ceremony with a full-on hairsprayed bouff.
It was big, flouncy and lacquered to within an inch of its life.
It's the sort of 'do that could benefit from a run-in with a set of hair-straighteners.
