Well, the celebrity world has officially been turned on its head.
The starry beast is an altogether different breed these days.
One of the biggest rock legends recognised a reality telly star, even though she hadn't a Scooby Doo who he was.
Jade Goody was bamboozled when Bono approached her in a Dublin bar.
According to The Sun, Bono strolled up to Jade and said: "Hi Jade, how are you?"
But she admitted: "I didn't know who he was. I knew he did loads for Live Aid, but that's all."
Yet all is not lost: she did recognise Westlife's Shane Filan in a London club.
She said: "He told me they stick up for me.
"I thanked him in my best Irish accent. He wasn't impressed."
