As Jade Goody has found out.
The former Big Brother star has been forced to close her beauty salon Ugly's, after it made a £40,000 loss.
Jade has been paying rent on the £100,000 Hertford salon since she set up business in September 2005, with her friend Carly Walpole.
Ugly's features on her Living TV show, Jade's Salon, and boasts two posh treatment rooms, a tanning parlour and a nail bar.
But she's had to make the decision to shut up shop having made not an ounce of profit.
Her spokesman said: "She's covered losses out of her own pocket. Jade's walking away now to stop losing any more money."
The salon is set to close after Christmas.
