So, he's bought a mountain in Spain. As you do.
Apparently, the You're Beautiful hitmaker has decided to up sticks and move to Spain because he prefers to be surrounded by animals rather than people.
A relative told The Sun newspaper: "He's bought a mountain and a beautiful old house. He wants to get away from it all.
"He wants to live the rural dream - with only donkeys, chickens, pigs and ducks for company."
The farm is reportedly located in southern Spain and also includes a vineyard and extensive olive grove.
But in case you were a little concerned the songwriter was abandoning his career in favour of being a farmer, never fear.
His relative added: "He hopes to produce his own wine and olive oil while working on his second album."
James' current abode is a small flat in west London.
However, the former Army Captain has hardly seen it over the last 12 months, with his work taking him all over the world.
