Pals of pale and interesting Erin have been telling The Sun that she is absolutely devastated after Jamie ended their two-year relationship, blaming the dumping on work commitments.
"She loved Jamie," a mate told the paper. "Their relationship was so serious that many of us felt they would be getting married soon."
Meanwhile, a more sober statement came from Heart 106.2 where Jamie does the breakfast show.
"It was an amicable split," said a spokesman. "They are still good friends and in contact with each other."
Reports have also come in that Jamie's ex Joely Richardson is no longer seeing her Nip/Tuck toyboy John Hensley.
Forty-year-old Joely never confirmed she was actually seeing the 27-year-old actor, who played her son in the series, yet friends of John are talking about a recent split.
Jamie Theakston's past girlfriends also include Natalie Appleton and Sophie Dahl.
