Jen appeared on Oprah's Big Give (which sees people trying to change the lives of others), and boy did she do the name of the project proud.

Not only were the final seven contestants surprised to see her there, but their joy got even better when Jen announced that she was going to triple their $10,000 (£5,000) cash gifts to give them each $30,000 (£10,000) - from her own coffers.

She said: "That just felt too good. I personally would like to triple it. So we're going to go $30,000.

"Guys, thank you for doing this and inspiring everybody."

Last month on Oprah, Drew gave away a $1m (around £500,000) to the United Nations World Food Programme, and Simon Cowell splashed out a whopping $162,000 (nearly £82,000) to help a family whose child has cancer.
