Jessica SimpsonPoor Jessica Simpson has taken a bit of a bashing because of her latest squeeze.

But she's got some support in the form of Eva Longoria.

You see, Jess' boyf is Tony Romo, an American footballer for the Dallas Cowboys.

And it's fair to say that some of the team's fans have blamed the odd below-par performance of late on Jessica.

Like she must be distracting him or something. Tut tut.

However, Eva Longoria says it's all nonsense and that she used to get the same sort of whining when she first started going out with now hubby, Tony Parker - a bigwig in the world of basketball.

"Believe me, they are not thinking of us when they are on the field, particularly Tony Romo, who has 10 linemen coming at him.
