Johnny Depp may look like a nice bet for a good night out...
But don't expect him to la-la-la along to the likes of Gloria Gaynor with you at 2am in the morning.
Despite having sung his way through an award-winning performance in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street, the whole sing-along thing represents one of Johnny's greatest fears.
"I've always been frightened of karaoke," the 44-year-old star revealed to The Sun.
"I've never tried it. It scares the hell out of me. I've never been that drunk. I've been drunk but not that drunk."
We think maybe Johnny's being modest - he just won a best actor Golden Globe for his vocal impression of the murderous Mr Todd, after all - though he did admit struggling with the role.
"I really didn't know if I could pull it off," Johnny said in reference to prepping for the part.
"I went into a buddy's studio and started to record the songs to see if I could get over the initial fear."
Bless. And that wasn't the only problem Johnny encountered in filming Sweeney Todd - he also had difficulty in getting to grips with a mandatory horror-type blade or two.
"Having worked with sharp objects before, everything was fine until I actually had to shave someone. It made me real nervous. Poor Alan (Rickman, Johnny's co-star). He wasn't screaming. He was close."
Feelin' your pain there, Alan.
Elsewhere in the news, generous Johnny has donated £1million to Great Ormond Street children's hospital as a thank you for treating his eight-year-old daughter Lily-Rose when she fell ill in Britain while he was filming Sweeney Todd here last year.
