Jordan To Adopt Disabled Child

Jordan, Peter Andre and HarveyDevoted mum Jordan wants to do an Angelina and adopt a child.

But unlike the Hollywood star she doesn't want to create a "rainbow family", she just wants to find a special "friend" for her three-year old son Harvey who is blind and autistic.

The pint-sized star told Richard and Judy: "I'm definitely one for having a big family. On top of that, I want to adopt a kid with special needs like Harvey, because I know how to cope with it.

"He's demanding and it would be nice for him to have a friend who understands."

Fear not, this is not just a whim for Jordan.

According to Heat magazine, when Harvey was just one she considered going to Mexico to adopt a child.

The glamour model has talked candidly in her new autobiography about Harvey's condition which makes him dangerously overweight and difficult for her to carry since she weighs in at a teeny seven stone something.

The tot takes four different types of medicine every day and throws tantrums if his mum tries to feed him healthy food.

She said: "Having Harvey and becoming a mother has been one of the most amazing and fulfilling things I have ever done, but it's definitely been one of the hardest as well and it has tested me more than anything else in my life ever has."

Having seen the way she dotes on Harvey, we reckon if anyone can do it, Jordan can.
