Joss StoneJoss StoneWe've just dusted off our violins, here in the Showbiz Shed...

You'll understand why when you hear Joss Stone's, ahem, heart-wrenching tale of woe.

Yep, life's dealt you a bad hand when you're a multi-million pound songstress.

Joss went on Chris Moyles' Radio 1 breakfast show to try and achieve some damage limitation after her behaviour at the Brits - how could anyone forget her US drawl?

So, how do you think she went about charming her fans?

By going into whinge mode - talking about just how hard it is to be her.

With her West Country twang curiously reappearing, she moaned that her accent was "confused."

Hitting The High NoteChris MoylesShe then grumbled about how tough it was "flying round the world every three minutes.

"I don't have any time to hang out with anybody. I know people work hard. They wake up early, go to work and come home.

"I don't do that, it doesn't happen.

"I'd rather people hate me than lie."

She went on to educate Chris about just why her life is harder than her fans - and how celebs give up their "health and happiness"

She said: "You've just puked, you feel fat. It's one of those days. Imagine that and add people outside your home."

We think now is an appropriate time to drop in the fact that Miss Stone spent nine weeks in Barbados last year.

But of course our hearts bleed.
