PA Joss Stone 12/04Joss StoneIt's been a pretty good year for that young Joss Stone - with a few extra gongs on the mantelpiece...

But now the 18-year-old singer can celebrate with a special treat, knowing that she doesn't just have to survive on her pocket money.

Instead, the soul star can rest easy after making it onto the rich list of Britain's young music millionaires.

The list, compiled by The Sunday Times, estimates that Joss is currently worth £5million, putting her in 14th place - but they admit the predicted figure could leap in the next year as a result of her increasing popularity.

Apart from her music, the teenager is also all set to be the new face of Gap - taking over from Sarah Jessica Parker in a lucrative deal.

At number one is Dhani Harrison, son of the late Beatle George Harrison, who has inherited a £140m fortune.

Others under 30 who've made the list include Coldplay members at 4th=, Will Young at 11th and Charlotte Church and Denise Van Outen sharing 12th place.

The Beckhams hover in the second spot - qualifying thanks to Victoria's singing career - her fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Mel B, now Mel Gulzar, also make the list.

In the 'grown-up' version of the list, Simon Calder, the man behind acts such as Britney Spears is top - with £1.3billion, he made his fortune by selling his independent label Zomba to record giant BMG.

Second is Sir Paul McCartney with £800 million, third is Lord Lloyd-Webber with £700 million and fourth is Sir Cameron Mackintosh worth an estimated £400 million.

Madonna and husband Guy Richie come in fifth place with £235 million.
