Rebecca LoosEgos and vocals were running high on Thursday night's X Factor: Battle Of The Stars.

But was James Hewitt's eye-watering Michael Jackson-style lunchbox grab enough to keep him and partner Rebecca Loos in the running?

Apparently not.

The pair became the fourth celebrity act to be booted off after they performed an out-of-tune version of MJ's The Way You Make Me Feel.

"I am sad as I enjoy being up here singing," said Rebecca.

But James admitted: "My singing is appalling and it's even worse watching it back."

After they were voted off, Simon Cowell said he wanted to see them return and perform in the show's finale - which will go down well with Sharon Osbourne - who again refused to comment on Rebecca's performance.

Nikki SandersonBut it seems ex-Corrie star Nikki Sanderson can't lose, no matter what happens - Simon and Louis Walsh reportedly both want to sign her up to a recording deal.

Glamour girl Michelle Marsh, who got the chop on Wednesday has blasted Simon telling The Sun: "He's afraid of Page 3 girls."

But she is now determined to pursue a singing career anyway and is recording a single.

The newspaper quotes her as saying: "Ever since I was little I wanted to be a singer. It's been my absolute dream.

"I got into modelling by mistake. Hopefully people have seen a different side to me and like me."
