Rap star Kanye West topped the lot at the Grammy award nominations - after receiving a sensational ten.
The microphone master and producer was also on hand at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles to help announce the nominees.
West is up for Album Of The Year for The College Dropout and also had a nomination for Best New Artist.
Alicia Keys and Usher came in a close second, with eight nominations each.
Singing sensation Joss Stone was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Album.
The 17-year-old talent described winning a Grammy as "something she has always dreamed of".
Rock band Green Day received six nominations while Norah Jones, Loretta Lynn and Prince each earned five.
Ray Charles posthumously earned seven nominations for his album Genius Loves Company.
The Grammy awards will be broadcast live from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 13.
