Singer Kate Bush is set to make a comeback after more than 12 years in obscurity.
The enigmatic Wuthering Heights star has told fans and record label EMI that her new album is almost finished.
The CD - as yet untitled - is due to be released in March.
The 46-year-old made the untitled work with composer Michael Kamen, who died last year.
She also had the help of Mick Karn, a bassist with Eighties band Japan.
Kate - who is said to have inspired Madonna - wrote to members of her fan club: "There are some lovely performances.
"I hope you will all feel it's been worth the wait."
