Kate Bosworth Kate Bosworth has spoken out.

On the sensitive issue of weight loss.

Kate's weight plummeted 18 months ago, with her size-zero figure sparking concern.

But the blonde actress is adamant that she's never had an eating disorder - rather, her teensy frame was due to the "emotional time" she was experiencing back then.

"I went through a really tough time about a year and a half ago," Kate told Celebs On Sunday magazine.

"It was made into this whole eating disorder thing, but it had nothing to do with it. I was just going through some serious emotional problems.

"People don't know, but we found out a family member had a terminal illness and he just passed away, so it was like all these things were colliding. That's just how emotional stress affects my body."

She added: "I have pressure to be a size bigger. I feel like I get s**t all the time for being too small."

However, we're relieved to hear Kate, who is currently dating Brit model James Rousseau, is now content with her lot in life, saying:

"I'm quite happy just being 25 and enjoying life."
