Is Keira Knightley really the new Kate Moss?
According to Chanel, the Oscar-nominated star is certainly on a par with the supermodel.
So much so, that they've named her as Kate's replacement as the new face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance for 2007.
"Chanel has enjoyed its collaboration with Kate for the last six years, which continues until the end of 2006, and Chanel maintains a close relationship with Kate Moss," the company stated.
"We think Keira is the perfect Coco Mademoiselle woman because she is always incredibly alluring and seductive.
"She possesses beauty, elegance and modernity, so she has many qualities that parallel other iconic Chanel faces in previous fragrance campaigns.
"And she certainly has a vein of irreverence that is similar to Mademoiselle Chanel herself."
No news yet on how much Keira will pocket for her troubles.
But with Nicole Kidman getting £6.7m for her Chanel No 5 ad and Catherine Zeta-Jones being paid a whopping £11.2m to front the T-Mobile US campaign, Keira can expect quite a bit.
