Whale Rider actress Keisha Castle-Hughes is over the moon.
She has given birth to her first child.
Felicity-Amore was born on Wednesday 25th April at 6.35pm.
This is Keisha's first child with boyfriend Bradley Hull.
Keisha, 17, and Bradley, 20, have been dating for three years.
The pregnancy sparked controversy in the actress' homeland last year, when her grandmother told the media that Keisha - then 16 - was too young to have a child.
Last week, Keisha revealed to a New Zealand TV programme she first felt guilty about the pregnancy, but is now thrilled to become a mother:
"If it wasn't meant to happen now, it wouldn't have happened now."
Keisha is the youngest actress ever to receive a best actress nomination for the Oscars.
She received the nomination for her performance as Paikea in 2002's film Whale Rider.
