Britney and Kevin in 2004Fret not, Britney Spears is still in rehab.

And let's hope the news that Kevin Federline has been to visit her will be of some help.

K-Fed popped along to Promises treatment centre in Malibu on Friday, according to reports in the States.

It's believed he stayed for about half an hour on what was Britney's second day in the rehab facility.

A source told People: "He cares a lot about her."

"Kevin just wants her to be OK. He loves her, so however she can get better is just what we'll have to accept. (They) will make it work with the kids - it's all still for them."

One person who is suddenly backing Kevin's intentions as far as his estranged wife is concerned, is Britney's other former husband, Jason Alexander.

Kevin Federline in January 2007He and Britney were briefly married in 2004 in Las Vegas - for a total of 55 hours - and in the past he's referred to Kevin as "an idiot".

But he told People this week that he now thinks Kevin is "a good dude".

"Maybe getting Kevin out of her life wasn't the best thing for her," he concluded.

Britney's dad told Fox News that his daughter was "a sick little girl" and added: "We're just trying to take care of her."

Meanwhile, Brit's manager Larry Rudolph has slammed reports that she's on "suicide watch".

"The story is absolutely untrue. She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better," Larry told Extra.
