But she was quick to backtrack, denying she's a mum-to-be. Although it clearly upsets her.
She told posh Marie Claire magazine: "I'm in 'baby crave' at the moment.
"Please let me get pregnant... boy, that would be beautiful."
But it won't be with multi-millionaire businessman Steve Bing, who famously demanded a DNA test on his son Damian with Liz Hurley.
Nic, who has two adopted children and miscarried with Tom Cruise's child in 2001, claims he is just a "very good friend" even though she is searching for relationship.
