Kirstie Alley has been overweight, underweight and somewhere in the middle, but she has always been refreshingly honest about her struggle to keep the pounds down.
Now the 53-year-old actress' attempts to lose weight have been turned into a TV series in the US called Fat Actress.
The press have made fun of poor Kirstie's shifting shape over the years as she became almost unrecognisable as the glamorous actress who starred with John Travolta in Look Who's Talking.
But it seems Kirstie is now having the last laugh after losing weight on the Jenny Craig programme.
The actress turned to the programme after her weight neared 16 stone and now writes a blog for their website to chart her progress.
So could Kirstie finally have triumphed in the battle of the bulge?
