Kristin has spoken about her battle with alcoholism.
Not an easy thing to talk about, we imagine, so kudos to her.
She told Shape magazine: "Alcohol freed me. I was really shy and I didn't know how to come out of my shell.
“I drank for the same reason I loved acting. I wanted to feel things and express myself and be free. And I'm not naturally that way."
She added that she has been sober for more than 15 years and now has a much healthier life, saying: "I don't drink and I've never smoked. They are bad for your skin and health."
Amen to that, sister.
