Songbird Kylie Minogue has spoken intimately about her battle with cancer.
She's said she was misdiagnosed in the early stages of the disease.
Chatting on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show, Kylie revealed her feelings on the matter.
She said: "Because someone is in a white coat and using big medical instruments doesn't necessarily mean they're right."
She revealed how shortly before her Showgirl tour she'd had a mammogram, and was given the all-clear.
She said: "I don't want to say that to frighten people but that's just a fact."
Two weeks later she found a lump in her breast - doctors removed the lump in May 2005.
She told Ellen: "You must follow your intuition and if you have any doubt, go back again."
