The singer was admitted to a Miami hospital suffering from severe bronchitis.
Poor Lenny has been sick since mid-January - suffering from a series of severe chest infections, along with the flu, and now the illness has evolved into bronchitis.
His spokeswoman said on Monday: "Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital.
"He was taken this morning to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami for immediate treatment."
