So, it’s not just Britain that thinks Leona Lewis has oodles of the X Factor.
There’s another nation loving Ms Lewis so much that she’s cracked something of theirs.
What is it?
Well, fret not, she hasn’t hit a high note and ruined anyone’s crystal glasses.
Oh no, Leona has cracked the US music charts by becoming the first British female solo artist to make number one in 21 years, with Bleeding Love.
The last British songstress to do the same was Kim Wilde in 1987.
What does X Factor’s 2006 winner have to say about all of this?
Writing on her official website she said: "Well I really don’t know what to say, I’m so overwhelmed right now.
"I’m getting to share my music with people around the world and it’s beyond my wildest dreams."
Her mentor Simon Cowell, said: "I am incredibly proud of Leona, what she has achieved in the past year is simply amazing. I am very very happy for her."
