After a fair amount of dilly-dallying...
It seems former bad boy Liam Gallagher is ready to tie the knot.
Wedding rumours reached fever pitch after Liam's lady, Nicole Appleton, spilled the marital beans in an interview with the Daily Mirror.
"It's important to me and I love the idea of being married," Nic said.
"When I see him (Liam) strutting onto the stage I don't recognise him. He's like a lion tamer and with a crack of the whip he controls the fans.
"He can't do that to me. At home I'm the lion tamer. Definitely."
Well, a feisty woman might be just what Liam needs.
His first marriage to Patsy Kensit was somewhat rocky to say the least.
But we're all for second chances and with Liam 'n' Nic having been together for seven years already, we're rating their chances at the whole marriage thing pretty highly.
Nic has said the wedding will be a small affair, but she's not fooling anyone.
This is a knees-up which'll count Liam's bro Noel, Nic's sister Natalie and her hubby Liam Howlett of The Prodigy among its guests, after all.
