Forgiveable, perhaps, of someone not used to the etiquette of eating out but Liam Gallagher really should know better.

The Oasis star must surely have had more restaurant meals than your average punter has had hot dinners.                    

He was snapped at an upmarket eaterie in London's plush St John's Wood dining with wife Nicole Appleton and their son Gene.                    

Throughout their meal - which looked like a pasta dish with side salad - Liam ate with his mouth wide open.                    

Not wide enough, it would seem, as he also kept missing it, spilling the contents of the meal onto his top.
