Lindsay has not been allowed to leave treatment at a Californian rehab facility to attend the premiere of her latest film Chapter 27.
The film premieres this Thursday, and also stars Lindsay's rumoured ex-boyfriend, Jared Leto.
Lindsay announced last Wednesday she had checked herself into the Wonderland Centre in the Hollywood Hills, just days before the film festival kicked off.
At this time it is unclear how long Lindsay will receive treatment for.
