Little Britain and The Office will battle it out at this year's British Comedy Awards - having received two nominations apiece.
The programmes are both up for the best TV comedy and the best TV comedy actor titles.
The 15th annual awards will also see Glasgow-born actor James McAvoy up for best comedy newcomer for Channel 4's Shameless.
He is up against Catherine Tate (BBC2's The Catherine Tate Show) and Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding (BBC3's The Mighty Boosh).
Martin Clunes will compete against Ricky Gervais, Matt Lucas and David Walliams for the comedy actor title.
Nighty Night, starring Julia Davis and Angus Deayton, is in the running in the best TV comedy section against Little Britain and The Office.
It is also up for best new TV comedy against Doc Martin and Life Begins.
Caroline Quentin, who received a special recognition gong at the National Television Awards, is up for best TV comedy actress for Life Begins and Von Trapped.
Other nominees are Catherine Tate (The Catherine Tate Show) and Julia Davis (Nighty Night).
This year's event will be presented by Jonathan Ross, who picked up his first award at last year's ceremony.
