Never one to be left behind the latest fashion, Liz Hurley and boyfriend Arun Nayar have emerged from the festive season engaged.
As the engagement bandwagon rolls on, Liz and Arun have inadvertently hopped on after a Christmas proposal.
Arun's divorce from ex-wife Valentina Pedroni has just come through which clears the way for Liz to be the next Mrs Nayar.
The couple, who have been dating for a year and a half are currently skiing in St Moritz with Liz's son Damian - who was fathered by Nicole Kidman's current beau, Steve Bing.
Reports are that millionaire businessman Arun popped the question at Christmas and Liz accepted, according to the Daily Mirror, Liz has told friends: "I love the pomp and colour associated with Indian weddings."
Their life-sharing news follows other recent showbiz engagements such as Justin and Cameron, Jude and Sienna, Seal and Heidi Klum, Big Brother's Kate Lawler and her footy boyfriend Jonathan Woodgate and Coronation Street's Samia Ghadie's announcement that she's to wed boyfriend Matthew Smith.
Clearly there will be plenty of celebrity hat-buying in the coming year.
