Jennifer LopezJennifer LopezShe'll turn up at the opening of an envelope and is instantly attracted to the flashing bulbs of photographers like a bee to honey.

But after courting the press for so long, Jennifer Lopez admits that the paparazzi are beginning to seriously scare her.

The singer-turned-actress was hounded by snappers during a high-speed chase through Beverly Hills - and J.Lo claims it was only luck that prevented a serious accident.

Movie website IMDb quoted her as saying: "They were following us and we almost got into a car accident.

"All of a sudden this car goes right in front of us. It was paparazzi trying to beat the light on the same turn with us."

Lopez, in LA promoting her latest film Monster-in-law, said the encounter gave her goose pimples.

She said: "They (paparazzi) feel like it's a game, like they're playing cops and robbers and they're spies. It's crazy."

After her ordeal, she added: "I'm astounded by the aggressiveness. It's just getting worse and worse."
